Average temperatures for Bristol for

1 January 2012
Last year was dry and mild. The talk of it being the second warmest year on record is certainly not the case for Bristol. It was mild at 11.2 but six
of the other years this milenium have been warmer.
1 December 2011
The last few months have been mild and dry. If December is dry we may well have had less rain this year than in 1976!
1 November 2011
This autumn the weather has returned to a more normal paturn with atlantic lows crossing the UK and the trade winds
returning to a more SW flow. This would suggest a wetter and windy winter but mild with less snow...We shall see!
1 September 2011
The summer was the coldest on record since 1987. Very few spells of warmth of any duration. Not particularly wet but still felt like there
was no summer!
1 January 2011
The coldest December as well since I started my records in 1979! The average temperature for the year is below 10c for the first time since
1979!
